Privacy Policy

Firefly Hub is an internal application operated by Firefly Solar Inc. (“Firefly Solar,” “we,” “us”) for use by our authorized team members. It provides training, competitions, compliance tracking, and sales resources. This policy explains what information the app handles and how. It is not a consumer product and is not offered to the general public.

Information we collect

• Account information — your name, email address, role, and team/region, used to create and manage your account.
• Training and activity data — your progress through lessons, video watch time, quiz results, acknowledgements, and competition standings.
• Device tokens — a push-notification token tied to your device so we can deliver training and competition alerts.
• Technical data — standard information such as app version, device type, and basic logs needed to operate the service securely.

How we use information

• Provide and personalize training, competitions, and resources.
• Track training completion and compliance for our team.
• Send relevant push notifications about training and competitions.
• Maintain security, prevent abuse, and operate the service.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.

Service providers

We use trusted vendors that process data on our behalf, solely to run Firefly Hub: Supabase (authentication and database), Mux (video delivery), Google Firebase (push notifications), and Vercel (hosting). These providers are bound to handle data only as needed to provide their services.

Data retention

We keep account and activity data for as long as your account is active and as needed for our internal training and compliance records. When an account is deactivated, associated personal data is removed or anonymized within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to meet legal or recordkeeping obligations.

Security

Access requires authentication, and administrative access is further protected with multi-factor authentication. Data is encrypted in transit. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

Your choices

You can disable push notifications in your device settings at any time. To access, correct, or delete your account information, contact your Firefly Solar administrator or us at the address below.

Children

Firefly Hub is intended only for authorized Firefly Solar team members and is not directed to children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a new “last updated” date.
